Bobcat Golf Range

Bobcat Golf Range is an outdoor driving range with a variety of amenities, including club repair, a putting green, and a chipping area. If you’re looking for a casual, low-stress place to practice your game, this is a great option. You can practice with sand traps and other features you’ll find on a full course. Whether you’re serious about practice or you just want to hit some balls for fun, the range is open for all skill levels.

Bobcat Golf Range offers music, a closest-to-the-pin challenge, and a variety of events. You can bring drinks to enjoy at the course as well. Just set up your spot and make a day of hitting the balls.

Putt Pub

Putt Pub is a mini-golf course with colorful and quirky holes. The miniature golf course offers 18 holes with unique obstacles fit for the whole family. The pub also offers a variety of other fun games and occasional access to food trucks if you’re craving something tasty after your round.

Putt Pub has two full bars as well as seating inside and outside. Before 8 p.m., the course is great for kids and families, but the evening hours are for those over the age of 21 only. The cost of one game of mini golf is $12 per person, and you can play another round for half the price.

Kissing Tree Golf Course

If you’re looking for a unique golfing experience, Kissing Tree Golf Course is a great local destination. The course, designed by architect Gary Stephenson, uses the natural landscape to its advantage. It blends the contours of the land into the course, creating a gorgeous golfing venue suitable for any skill level.

Today, Kissing Tree is recognized for its natural character and gorgeous backdrop. In fact, it’s part of the Audubon International program. This semi-private course managed by Troon Golf offers 18 holes. Golfers love the endless possibilities and challenges that this course provides.

Location: 201 Kissing Tree Lane, San Marcos

Hours: 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Sunday

Duke’s Adventure Golf

Duke’s Adventure Golf is just a short drive from San Marcos, in Austin. This miniature golf course is family-owned and -operated. If you love golf of any kind, this course will offer plenty of fun.

You can even bring your own drinks to enjoy. Duke’s Adventure simply requests that you don’t bring any beverages in glass bottles. The price per round for adults and children over the age of 5 is $8, with additional rounds at $4. Children aged 5 and under cost $5 with free additional rounds.

Location: 1716 East Slaughter Lane, Austin

Hours: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to 9 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.

Memorial Mini Golf

Memorial Mini Golf is a unique mini-golf course situated within a military museum. In addition to exploring a family-friendly miniature golf course, you’ll also have access to additional information about World War II. The course takes you through some of the educational components, so you’ll have plenty to look at. It also winds indoors and outdoors, so this activity will also get you outside. Unlimited golfing costs $8 for adults and $5 for children under 13.

After enjoying the mini-golf course, don’t miss all the unique memorabilia in the museum. You’ll even be able to tour the interior of an aircraft. This location is perfect for groups, including friends and families looking for a fun and educational way to spend an afternoon. It’s a fun and memorable way to honor living and past veterans. In fact, each hole is dedicated to a veteran from World War II, the Korean War, or the Vietnam War. Dedications include veterans from all military branches, but the course does focus on aviation.

Location: 1710 North Farm to Market 1626, Buda

Hours: 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday

Flying Armadillo Disc Golf

If you love golf but want to try something a little different, check out Flying Armadillo Disc Golf. Disc golf is fun and family-friendly. This particular course offers a mini-course as well as a big course, both offering 18 holes. The mini-course is ideal for children and beginners, but it also poses a decent challenge for those who’ve been playing for years. The big course offers more challenging terrain, including large trees, creek beds, and even some changes in elevation. Still, the course offers tee boxes for beginner players as well.

The course has a pro shop where you can learn about the courses and ask questions about which run might be better for you. On weekdays, you can play unlimited rounds on both courses for $5. On Saturday and Sunday, admission costs $10 for unlimited rounds. Children under 12 always play for free when an adult accompanies them. You can call ahead to schedule night golf on the small course. Simply pay your fee at the pro shop when you arrive, or rent discs if you need them.
