He served as a Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Terry Jennings of the Houston First District Court of Appeals (handling numerous criminal causes) and subsequently worked for an “Am Law 100” law firm, Haynes and Boone, LLP. Deciding to become a criminal defense attorney, he then worked as a state prosecutor.
